Our Philosophy
Horizons Training was founded in 2017 with the belief that everyone and anyone can accomplish some amazing things. We are born to move. No matter your starting point, no matter your goals, no matter how many setbacks there have been, we are here to help you continue on your path.

One of my coaches put it as "Don't be afraid to be good." It was arguably one of the most important sports psychology lessons I ever learned. As we were setting ourselves for what was bound to be a grueling set, he asked us to forget out previous race times. Told us they didn't matter.
We knew what we had done before, but what could we do now?

Let us help you reach your goals and push past them. Our mission is to help you chase your horizon, aiming for continual improvement and a lifetime of active living. Individualized training plans implemented in a group setting for a team spirit makes for fun training.

As I finished my first race in 2011, which I swore would be my only one, I said "Next time, I'm going to..." And I was hooked. For most triathletes, it's the finish line that motivates. For me, that's just the starting line. Each year, I look to go a little further, a little faster. Backed by my family and a couple of amazing coaches, I've made 5 age-group podium finishes, competed in 2019 at the ITU Multisport World Championships as a part of Age Group Team Canada for Aquabike, and achieved a 3rd place finish in Women's Open at the National Finals for The Viking Dash 10 km Trail Run. I train for the challenge of it. What motivates you?
